Mentoring
Supporting Clinicians in Neurological Rehabilitation
Neurological conditions can be complex and challenging to understand and treat. Many conditions—particularly Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and dystonia—are often misunderstood or stigmatized, which can create barriers to receiving appropriate care.
For therapists working across diverse settings, including acute care, community, rural, and remote practice, it is not always feasible to pursue specialized training for every neurological condition they may encounter. Access to practical clinical support, education, and resources can help therapists feel more confident when providing care.
Neuro Centered provides clinical education and support through:
Virtual one-on-one mentoring for case discussion and clinical support
Virtual group mentoring and information sessions
Educational workshops focused on neurological rehabilitation
A community listserv where therapists can ask questions, share knowledge and resources, and connect with other clinicians
In-person education and mentoring are also available in Edmonton and the surrounding area.
Our goal is to help connect clinicians with practical knowledge, resources, and support so that individuals living with neurological conditions can receive more informed and appropriate rehabilitation.
